Exciting News for Fireflies Fans: A New Digital Ticketing Experience Awaits!
Columbia Fireflies supporters will need to adapt to a significant change when purchasing and accessing their tickets, following an update from Minor League Baseball regarding its digital ticketing system.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — As fans gear up for their next game, they should be aware of an important new procedure introduced by Minor League Baseball that affects how they buy and manage their tickets.
The Fireflies have announced that all digital ticketing accounts are now integrated with the account services of MLB.com. This enhancement aims to enhance the overall experience for spectators on game day, making it more streamlined and user-friendly than ever.
With this upgraded system, fans will now have the convenience of purchasing, accessing, managing, and scanning their tickets all through one single MLB account, which will be functional across both MiLB and MLB platforms. This unified approach is expected to significantly simplify how fans engage with their ticketing needs.
"For the first time ever, you’ll have the capability to purchase, access, manage, and scan your tickets using one MLB account that works seamlessly across both MiLB and MLB platforms," the Fireflies stated in a communication directed at their fans.
To take advantage of this updated ticketing process, fans are required to first ensure they possess an MLB account. If you already have one, make sure it is linked to the same email address that was previously associated with your Fireflies ticketing account. For those without an MLB account, creating one is essential.
Fans can easily create or log into their MLB account by visiting either MiLB.com or MLB.com, or by using the MiLB app where they can find options to "Sign Up" or "Log In." Additionally, as part of the login process, users will need to verify their email address and phone number to secure their ticket access effectively.
The most efficient way to manage tickets is through the MiLB app. After logging in with your MLB account, simply tap on the Team tab and select "My Tickets" under Quick Links. From there, fans can view, manage, and scan their tickets directly from their mobile devices, making it easier than ever to enjoy the game.
For any fans who may require assistance during this transition, the Fireflies Ticket Office is available and can be reached at (803) 726-4487 ext. 1.
But here’s where it gets controversial... How do you feel about this new ticketing system? Is it a step forward for fan convenience, or does it complicate things unnecessarily? Share your thoughts in the comments!
