In a shocking turn of events, police are on the lookout for two individuals involved in a serious assault that took place in North York last month, leaving one victim with critical injuries.
This unsettling incident unfolded on the evening of December 21 in the vicinity of Lawrence Avenue West and De Marco Boulevard, just east of Black Creek Drive. According to the police reports, the victim was simply walking when they were approached by a man and a woman.
The situation escalated quickly when one of the suspects allegedly attacked the victim using a blunt object. As a result, the victim suffered severe injuries and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. By the time law enforcement arrived at the scene, both suspects had already made their escape.
In a bid to gather more information and apprehend the suspects, authorities released images of the individuals they are seeking. The first suspect is described as a male in his thirties, approximately five feet ten inches tall, with a muscular physique, short black hair, and facial hair.
The second suspect is identified as a woman in her thirties, standing about five feet four inches tall, possessing a slender build, sporting black hair, and wearing glasses.
Additionally, police noted that the suspects were seen driving a black four-door Mercedes sedan, model years ranging from 2017 to 2020.
